2BRAINS: Technical Plan
| |
|---|
| Version | 1.4, initial plan (3 Nov 2026). Decisions can change if we find something better. |
| Sources | Main Concept · Business Model & Architecture · UI/UX & User Flow · Onboarding Blueprint · AI System Prompts · Monetization · First 500 Users |
| Product | One platform: mobile app (iPhone, Android) + website, same account and same data |
| First launch | Thu 31 Dec 2026 (MVP) |
1. Scope
1.1 What 2BRAINS does
A founder records an idea by voice. The Lead Advisor (Zoya AI) asks questions one at a time until the idea is clear and gives a Readiness Index that shows blind spots. The founder then works with a Virtual Board of Directors (specialist AI advisors) that builds the plan, and exports a Lean Canvas, and later a pitch deck and financial model.
1.2 Two tracks
| Guided (first-time founders) | Pro (experienced founders) |
|---|
| AI behaviour | Patient mentor, defines every term, one question at a time | Direct, red-teams assumptions, outputs immediately |
| UI | Light, spacious, step-by-step unlocks | Dark, dense dashboard, manual overrides |
| Switch | Chosen at onboarding; can be toggled at any time, per advisor |
1.3 Releases
| Release | Date | Contents |
|---|
| R1 MVP | 31 Dec 2026 | Onboarding, voice, Lead Advisor + Readiness Index, 4-agent Boardroom (Lead, Strategy, Finance, Tech), quick-win blueprint, Lean Canvas + PDF, credits metering, app + website, landing pages. Free beta. |

2. Requirements
2.1 Functional (R1)
| ID | Requirement |
|---|
| F1 | Sign in with Google, Apple, LinkedIn (and email) on app and website; one account across both |
| F2 | Onboarding: choose Guided or Pro; set target market (e.g. Saudi Arabia, MENA) and language (Arabic, English) |
| F3 | Record a voice note up to 2 minutes; live waveform; transcript shown and editable |
| F4 | Structure the transcript into 3 pillar cards: Concept, Audience, Monetization (editable) |
| F5 | Lead Advisor chat: one question at a time until Problem, Solution, Target Customer and Unique Mechanism are captured |
| F6 | Readiness Index: score with progress bar and named blind spots, framed constructively; unlocks the Boardroom |
| F7 | Quick-win blueprint within ~5 minutes of onboarding: landing page outline + 3 zero-cost growth paths (PDF) |
| F8 | Boardroom hub: advisor cards with progress rings; open any advisor in any order |
| F9 | Advisor chat + live whiteboard drawer showing the data being captured (e.g. pricing table) |
| F10 | Advisors share one master state; a change in one domain flags the affected advisors |
| F11 | Guided/Pro toggle globally and per advisor; Guided mode locks advanced steps until core milestones are done |
| F12 | Lean Canvas: 9 blocks auto-filled from the Boardroom, editable, export to PDF |
| F13 | Credits: every AI action costs credits; balance shown; monthly free beta allowance |
| F14 | Projects list: multiple ideas per user, resume anywhere (app or website) |
| F15 | Delete account and export my data |
| F16 | Public website: landing pages, "answer-first" content for AI search (GEO), app download links |
| F17 | Internal "Roast My Idea" tool: team runs a one-line idea through the advisors and gets a shareable image |
2.2 Functional (R2 to R5)
| ID | Release | Requirement |
|---|

| F32 | R3 | Private workspaces with invites by email and LinkedIn share link; comments |
| F33 | R3 | Report and moderation queue |
| F34 | R3 | Matchmaking: suggest founders with similar published ideas; both must opt in before identities are shared |

| Availability | 99% during beta |
| Accessibility | 44 pt touch targets, 4.5:1 contrast, screen-reader labels |
3. Technical architecture
3.1 Overview
Mobile app (Expo) Website (Next.js)

API (Python FastAPI) ───────► PostgreSQL + object storage (cloud provider)

Job queue (durable runner) ──────────┘

Transcribe Lead Advisor Boardroom agents Exports Credits
(speech API) (Claude) (Claude, shared (PDF/PPTX/ (ledger)
master state) XLSX)
- One Python backend for both clients. App and website call the same API and read the same database, so a project started on the phone continues on the website.
- Hub-and-spoke master state (from the AI document): each project has one Master State JSON. Agents read it, write only their section, and raise cross-domain flags. One writer applies changes with a version check so agents never overwrite each other.
- Prompts are data, not code: advisor role + track (Guided/Pro) + market + language are assembled from templates stored in the database, so prompts change without an app release.
3.2 Stack
| Layer | Choice |
|---|
| Mobile app | Expo / React Native, TypeScript |
| Website | Next.js (React, TypeScript): marketing pages + full web app |
| Shared code | Monorepo: React/Expo share UI tokens and translations; TypeScript API client and types generated automatically from FastAPI's OpenAPI spec |
| Backend | Python 3.12 + FastAPI (async, streaming responses), Pydantic models; one API for app and website |
| Database | Managed PostgreSQL (with pgvector) from the chosen cloud provider; row-level security for private data |
| Auth | Built in FastAPI: Google, Apple, LinkedIn sign-in (OAuth) + email login links; JWT sessions shared by app and website |
| Files | Cloud object storage (S3-compatible) for audio and exports, private by default |
| Background jobs | Inngest (Python SDK): retries, resume, schedules |
| AI | Claude API (model per task set in config) |
| Speech-to-text | Chosen by week-1 test on Arabic (Saudi dialects) and English |
| Exports | PDF (WeasyPrint, Arabic support) in R1; python-pptx and openpyxl in R4 |
| Payments (R4) | Apple/Google in-app purchase in the app (via RevenueCat); Moyasar or Tap on the website |
| Cloud and hosting | One cloud provider (to be chosen; e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or a Saudi provider). FastAPI and website in containers; managed Postgres; object storage; secrets manager |
| Ops | Expo EAS for app builds and over-the-air fixes; GitHub Actions, Sentry, PostHog |
3.3 AI design
| Agent | Release | Owns (Lean Canvas blocks) |
|---|
| Lead Advisor (Zoya AI) | R1 | Problem, Existing Alternatives, Customer Segments, Early Adopters, Readiness Index |
| Strategy (CSO) | R1 | Unique Value Proposition, Channels, Unfair Advantage, ICP |
| Finance (CFO) | R1 | Revenue Streams, Cost Structure, pricing, funding need |
| Tech (CTO) | R1 | Solution, Key Metrics, build-vs-buy, tech stack, main engineering risk |
| Commercial, Operations, HR, Legal | R4 | Sales model, operations plan, hiring, entity and compliance |
Rules applied to every agent: Guided or Pro behaviour block (from the AI prompts document), one question at a time in Guided, each agent has a required data checklist that drives its progress ring, every number marked as sourced or estimate, credit cost per call.
